This club competes in the Birmingham Area Debate League. The team debates two different debate topics throughout the year and must argue both the affirmative and negative position. This club requires individual research and writing, but focuses on the art of verbally clashing with an opponent about varying topics.

Requirements for membership: All are welcome, from 9th grade through 12th grade. Practices are Tuesdays from 4-5 pm. There are five Debate Competitions on Tuesdays at Samford University.
